Our Mission

Our mission is to create a more equitable playing field for startup funding by championing underserved early-stage startup founders in the greater New York City area. We strive to provide increased opportunities for these founders to develop, grow, and build exceptional companies, one founder at a time.

Women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ Founders Receive Less Than 5% of Venture Capital Funds Raised in the US in any given year.

Only $3.7 billion of the $76 billion raised by US startups in 2024 went to Women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ founders

No Strings

The BRIK Foundation is a non-profit. We don’t take equity from those we help.


Other benefits include Pitch Days with potential investors and partnerships with private businesses, mentors, and government agencies to provide further support, resources, and guidance to our founders
